The threat for a wintry mix is increasing across much of central Kentucky and southern Indiana Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

Some accumulations of snow, ice, and freezing rain will be possible, especially across southern Indiana and northern Kentucky. These snow and ice accumulations could make travel hazardous at times Thursday morning.

Precipitation will transition to rain first in southern Kentucky before sunrise, and then northern Kentucky and southern Indiana by or shortly after sunrise.

If current forecasts and model trends remain consistent, a winter weather advisory may be issued for parts of southern Indiana and central Kentucky. Be sure to keep up to date with the latest forecasts.
