Schools in Dubois County Open For Classes Today, Expect Big Changes This Year

BY: DAVID SHEPHERD, NEWS DIRECTOR

DUBOIS COUNTY -- It’s the first day of school across Dubois County, and, obviously, this year will be much different than in years past due to the pandemic.

For one, there will be fewer students will be in the classrooms with many parents opting for the online option where students will take classes virtually.

To keep students safe in school, kids will be assigned seats in classrooms, on buses and in the cafeteria.  Seats will also be spaced out to maintain proper social distancing.

Masks will be required when students can't socially distance and high touch areas will be cleaned and sanitized daily.
