LAWRENCE COUNTY -- A Salem man has been arrested for allegedly dealing meth in Lawrence County.
State Police received multiple tips from the public about 41-year-old Michael Chastain and an investigation was launched.
He was stopped driving with an inactive license plate and troopers say they noticed indicators of criminal activity.
A search of the vehicle turned up 14 grams of meth, paraphernalia and a loaded handgun.
Chastain is charged with dealing and possessing meth and paraphernalia and possession of a stolen firearm.
