HUNTINGBURG -- The public is being invited to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Huntingburg Airport next week.

That’s where a new tunnel has been constructed on CR 200 South as part of a major $13.1 million expansion of the existing airport.

It’s the first airport in the state to have a tunnel.

The ribbon cutting will be on Monday, September 14th at 10 a.m. at the south entrance of the new tunnel adjacent to the intersection of CR 900 South and CR 200 West.
