Retired Martin County Sheriff Dave Qualkenbush Has Died at 70

MARTIN COUNTY -- Retired Martin County Sheriff Dave Qualkenbush has died.

He served as Sheriff for 12 years following a 16-year career as a County Deputy.  Qualkenbush was a Navy veteran and served two tours in Vietnam.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 13th, 2021 at the Martin County Community Building.  A graveside service will be held at South Martin Cemetery on June 26, 2021 at 10:30 a.m., weather permitting.

Dave Qualkenbush was 70.
