Police Investigating Human Remains Found in Woods Friday in Bedford

BEDFORD -- Police in Bedford are investigating human remains found in a wooded area late last week.

A person walking their dog in the woods Friday discovered the remains in the area of 22^nd and F Streets in Bedford.

The remains will be examined and a positive ID will be made once DNA results come back.  That could take 6 – 8 weeks.

Police conducted a search of that area back in September looking for Brian Blomquist.  He was reported missing on August 13^th.
