POLICE: "Extremely Intoxicated" Man Arrested Following Domestic Battery Incident Tuesday Night

HUNTINGBURG -- A Huntingburg man is in jail today on domestic battery charges.

Huntingburg Police responded to a disturbance around 8:30 Tuesday night at a home on East 8^th Street.

Officers say 52-year-old Chris Ferguson was “extremely intoxicated” and allegedly battered the younger of the two adult children and their mother; Ferguson’s ex-wife.

Investigators say the battery left injuries on both victims.

Ferguson faces two counts of domestic battery.
