POLICE: Dogs Died in Fire, State Trooper Accused of Arson Faces Additional Cruelty Charges

JASPER -- More charges have been filed against former Indiana State Police Trooper Jeremy Galloway, whom police say, burned down his Tell City home back in October of last year.

Galloway was a trooper with the Jasper post until resigning his position last week.

Now, he’s facing additional charges of animal cruelty since two dogs were killed in the fire he is accused of setting.

Andrew Hauser is the president of the Perry County FOP.  He started a GoFundMe page for Galloway after the fire.  Hauser tells WFIE-TV that all of the donors have been refunded.
