Perry County Resident Dies From COVID-19 in Long-Term Care Facility

PERRY COUNTY -- A Perry County COVID-19 patient has died.

The county’s Health Department says the patient died Thursday at a long-term care facility in the county.  They aren’t giving out any information about the person who died. 

It’s the second reported death in Perry County connected to COVID-19.  

101 residents in the county have tested positive for the virus.
