OWNERS: Jasper 8 and Other Area Theaters Could "Go Dark For Good," Asking For Your Help

FROM LOCAL SOURCES

JASPER -- Owners of the movie theatre in Jasper are expressing concerns over whether they’ll survive the pandemic financially.

In a post to social media over the weekend, Showplace Cinemas say movie theaters across the country are at risk of going dark for good after being closed for months due to state lockdown orders.

Showplace Cinemas, based in Evansville, purchased the Jasper 8 Theater late last year.  It’s asking customers to sign an online form to save our cinemas.
