One Killed, Another Hurt in Oaktown Double Shooting

OAKTOWN -- Indiana State Police have released the names of the two people shot Wednesday in Oaktown.

A female victim, 56-year-old Sharon Patton died from the gunshot wounds she sustained.

63-year-old Roger Darrough was seriously hurt in the shooting and airlifted to Deaconess Midtown in Evansville.

He was found in a detached garage while the female was found inside of the home the two share.

The investigation is on-going, however, State Police say they do not believe there is a danger to the general public.
