Officials in Indiana Report Over 444,000 Hoosiers Have Filed Jobless Claims, 118,000 Last Week Alone

STATEWIDE -- Many Hoosiers are losing their jobs.
The latest unemployment rate report revealed that about 444,000 people across the state have filed a jobless claims.
That number includes 118,000 Hoosiers who filed new unemployment claims in just the last week.
The stay at home order caused many businesses and factories across the state to close due to the coronavirus, which led to the high numbers of unemployment claims.
