No Change of Venue For St. Anthony Murder Suspect Kyle Schneider

JASPER -- A trail date has been set for murder suspect Kyle Schneider. 

He’s’ the man accused of killing Chloie Lubbehusen in a St. Anthony home back in January.

The Free Press reports Schneider will go to trial May 13^th for the deadly stabbing.

Dubois County Judge Nathan Verkamp denied defense requests for a change of venue and to push the date of the trial back.

Schneider’s lawyer had argued media coverage would make it hard for his client to get a fair trial.

A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for May 8^th.
