Nine New COVID Cases Reported in the County Wednesday, We're Still a "Hot Spot" Health Officials Say

JASPER -- The Dubois County Health Department reports nine new positive cases of COVID-19 in the county. 

That brings the total to 579 positive cases of COVID-19 in Dubois County residents since the beginning of the pandemic.

Of those cases, 331 have recovered, 11 have died.  When you do the math, it comes out to 237 active cases in the county.

According to the latest numbers from the state, Just over 20% of the positive cases in Dubois County were in their 20's.  19.5% of patients are in their 40's.  18.3% are in their 30's and 15.4% are ages 50 - 59.  Nearly 13% of our cases locally are in children under the age of 19.  6.5% are in their 60's.  7% of the cases in the county are in residents 70 and older.
