New COVID-19 Cases in Dubois County Brings Total to 38, Locally, 23 Have Recovered

JASPER -- The Dubois County Health Department confirms three more positive cases of COVID-19 have been identified in county residents. This brings the running total to 38 positive cases countywide.

"We are working closely with Indiana State Department of Health and local officials to ensure that close contacts of the patients are identified and monitored," the Health Dept. said in a statement released Friday morning.  "Everyone who may have an exposure risk to these positives cases are being notified about potential exposures so that appropriate infection control procedures can be followed."  

The positive cases are in isolation.


Officials are also now reporting local recovery rates.  23 of the 38 positive cases have recovered in Dubois County.  Local officials are defining "recovered" as a person out of isolation and reporting feeling well.
