New Charges in Child Molestation Case
On 10/22/2019 a Detective with the Dubois County Sheriff's Office concluded his investigation into activities of 27 year old Nathan Albrecht.
Albrecht has been incarcerated since 8/23/2019 on various charges including child molestation and child seduction.
A cell phone and other items of digital storage media were seized and examined after a search warrant was sought and granted. Those devices held nearly 15,000 videos or photographs of child pornography.
Albrecht is now also in custody for a Level 6 Felony charge of Possession of Child Pornography.
The Dubois County Sheriff's Office has been assisted by the Jasper City Police Department, Ferdinand Police Department, the Huntingburg Police Department, the Dubois County Prosecutors Office, the Indiana Department of Family and Children Services, and the Southwestern Indiana Child Advocacy Center Coalition during the course of this investigation.
Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty
