Murder Suspect's Mom Admits She Lied in Trial Testimony

WARRICK CO. -- The mother of murder suspect Isiah Hagan admitted Monday to saying things that were untrue in her son’s trial in Warrick County, according to WFIE TV who is covering the trial.

Hagan is the man charged with killing student Haylee Rathgeber last year. Her body was discovered near a soccer field.

On the stand Monday, the defense pressed Donna Hagan on statements she made in previous testimony, asking if she acknowledged saying things that were not true during the trail. Her exact quote was, “I do.”

This is Hagan’s second murder trial. The first ended in a mistrial last month after at least one juror saw Hagan in a holding cell, making that juror uncomfortable.
