Mistrial Declared in Murder Case, New Trail Date Set
WARRICK CO. -- Isaiah Hagan gets a new court date.
He’s the man accused of murdering Halee Rathgeber in Warrick County last near.
On day four of the trial last week, the judge declared a mistrial after learning that at least one juror accidently saw Hagan in a holding cell and locked eyes with the suspect, making that juror uncomfortable.
The defense argued Hagan couldn’t get a fair trial because of that interaction.
The judge agreed, halting the trial.
A new trial is set to begin May 30th.
