Minor Injuries For A Semi Driver After He Fell Asleep and Overturned on I-64 This Morning

WARRICK COUNTY -- The westbound lanes of I64 are back open at this hour near U.S. 231 after a semi overturned in the median this morning.

It happened near mile marker 54.

Authorities say the 71-year-old driver fell asleep.  He had to be removed from the semi by emergency personnel.

He was airlifted to an area hospital as a precaution, but Indiana State Police reports the man’s injuries are minor.
