Memorial Hospital Postpones Elective Surgeries Due to COVID-19 Fears

JASPER -- COVID-19 fears are forcing Memorial Hospital to postpone or cancel elective and non-urgent surgeries beginning today.

This includes both in-patient and out-patient procedures at the hospital in Jasper and the Memorial Outpatient Surgery Center.

If you have an elective surgery coming up, contact your physician for more information.

Hospital officials say the measures are being taken in an effort to protect patients, families and hospital staff.
