Memorial Hospital Creates Service For Local Immigrants Applying for Status Adjustment

JASPER -- Memorial Hospital has announced it’s added a Civil Surgeon service for immigrants applying for an adjustment of status in the immigration process.

The Free Press reports Dr. Stan Tretter will offer medical exams that are compliant with U.S. Immigration Services’ standards.  The exams include evaluation of medical history, a physical exam, testing for communicable diseases and a review of immunizations.

The new service has been made available through a partnership between the Latino Collaboration Roundtable and Memorial Hospital.
