Our annual Memorial Day Observance held at the Dubois County Memorial in downtown Jasper has been canceled due to the corona virus.

The US Flag will be lowered to half staff and the small US flags will be placed around the fountain Saturday morning.  We have permission to have flowers placed beginning Friday morning in memory of your deceased Veteran at the Veterans Memorial in downtown Jasper, Huntingburg's Veterans Memorial and the Ferdinand Veterans Memorial.  These flowers will be on display through the Memorial Day weekend.

We will be recognizing the 111 Veterans who have passed away this past year with publications in the Herald, Ferdinand News and the Huntingburg Press.  I have attached the list of this years deceased Veterans through May 13 and please add Daniel L Kluesner and Hugh T Mattingly Jr. who have passed this past week.

The DCVC thanks you for your dedication and all you do for our Veterans through out the year.
