STATEWIDE -- Meijer is partnering with the Indiana State Teachers Association on plans for a series of COVID-19 vaccine clinics at Indiana stores this week.

Meijer says it will hold a dozen clinics and give 10,000 doses of the coronavirus vaccine to pre-registered teachers and school staff in grades pre-K to 12 by the end of the week.

Teachers and staff will be asked to verify their school affiliation and have proper ID when pre-registering through Meijer’s vaccine registration process.

Teachers can also register by texting "ISTA" to 75049. Over the last few weeks, Meijer has given more than 25,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine at stores across Indiana.
