Mayor Seitz Orders Flags to Half-Staff to Honor James Jim Fischer, 72

JASPER -- Jasper mayor Terry Seitz has ordered the Jasper flags at City Hall to be lowered to half-staff to in honor of former common councilman James Jim Fischer.

He passed away on Monday. He was 72.

Funeral services and a visitation will be held this week.

A visitation … Thursday afternoon from 2 – 7 at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel.

Funeral services Friday at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church.

A visitation will also be held Friday on hour prior to the service.
