Man Flicks Cigarette Out of Window, Arrested on Possession Charge
JASPER -- A Jasper man is in jail today and it all started when he allegedly flicked a cigarette out of his car window.
Police stopped 21-year-old Carson Popp yesterday morning just after 10 on a littering violation for throwing that cigarette out.
During the stop, a K9 was called in to do an open-air sniff on the vehicle.
Police say a glass pipe used for smoking meth was discovered in Popp’s vehicle.
He was arrested and charged with Possession of Paraphernalia.
He’s lodged in the Dubois County Security Center.
