Man Arrested in Huntingburg For Driving With BAC of .321%, Resisting Arrest


HUNTINGBURG -- A Cynthiana man was arrested over the weekend after allegedly driving while extremely intoxicated.

Huntingburg Police tried to stop 45-year-old James Ashley Saturday afternoon on U.S. 231 but he didn’t stop for nearly a mile.  He eventually stopped in the WITZ Bottoms.

A portion of U.S. 231 was shut down as police ordered Ashely out of the vehicle.

A chemical test showed Ashley had a blood alcohol content of .321%.  .08 is the legal limit.

Ashley is charged with OWI, OWI over .15, OWI Endangering and Resisting Law Enforcement.
