Man Accused of Beating Pregnant Woman Captured, Another Remains On-The-Run

JASPER -- The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office says 44-year-old Daniel Moore of Holland has been located and is now in the county jail.

Moore was wanted on several violent charges including battery and strangulation of a pregnant woman.

He was arrested this week in Vanderburgh County and transferred to Dubois County where he remains held in the Security Center.

Police continue to search for 53-year-old Carl Young of Huntingburg.  He’s been on the run since failing to return to lawful detention.  He’s also charged with possession of a syringe, obstruction of justice and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
