WITZ / WQKZ Part Time Position Available:

Are you looking to earn a few extra dollars a week?  WITZ is seeking a part-time, seasonal employee to assist with various tasks including, but not limited to, board operators and occasional on-air work. Weekly hours depend on number of remote broadcasts per week and will vary from season to season.  

Responsibilities:

-   Operates control board in studio for remote programming, plays commercials, and supports on-air talent

-          Checks equipment for proper functions and immediately notifies management of quality issues or equipment malfunctions

-          Time management skills and attention to detail

-          Functions well in fast-paced environment with strict time frames and demands

-          Ability to work without close supervision

Qualifications

-          18 years of age or older with reliable transportation

-          Flexible schedule including nights and weekends

-          Have working knowledge of computers and radio broadcasts

-          Sports knowledge helpful but not required
