STATEWIDE -- Cannabis oil is now legal in Indiana, but governor Eric Holcomb says that doesn’t change his opposition to doing the same for medical marijuana.

He says he was happy to sign the bill legalizing CBD oil, but added he still opposes medical marijuana and industrial hemp, despite the House voting this session unanimously to allow licensed farmers to grow it.

Medical marijuana may get a legislative study session this summer, but Holcomb adds he’ll oppose any attempt to go farther.
