Local McDonald's Worker Arrested for Internal Theft
Jasper - A Jasper McDonald's worker was arrested for taking money out of a cash drawer on Thursday.
On Thursday, around noon, members of the Jasper Police
Department were called to 450 S US 231 (McDonald's) in reference to an internal theft.
Upon investigation, Blake
Schmitt, an employee of McDonald's, was found to have stolen approximately $65 from his cash drawer.
Schmitt was
located at his residence and transported to the Jasper Police Department for an interview. Schmitt was transported
to the Dubois County Security Center and charged with Theft(Class A Misdemeanor).
