8:12 PM -- The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Weather Statement for Warrick,  IN and Spencer, IN beginning at 8:04 pm and ending at 8:19 pm (WITZWQKZ)

7:30 PM -- The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Gibson, IN and Pike, IN beginning at 7:23 pm and ending at 10:23 pm.  Flood Advisory remains in effect for Dubois County.

7:08 PM -- THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LOUISVILLE HAS ISSUED A  FLOOD ADVISORY FOR... DUBOIS COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL INDIANA...

* UNTIL 900 PM CDT

* AT 605 PM CDT, DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN DUE TO THUNDERSTORMS. EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS, COUNTRY ROADS, FARMLAND, AND OTHER LOW LYING SPOTS.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE... JASPER, HUNTINGBURG, FERDINAND, HOLLAND, BIRDSEYE, DUBOIS, HILLHAM, CELESTINE, MILLERSPORT AND BRETZVILLE. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... PLEASE REPORT FLOODING TO YOUR LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY WHEN YOU CAN DO SO SAFELY.

7:05 PM -- Heavy rain, strong winds currently in north Jasper as the storms move in.  You'll have lightning and thunder with these storms as well.  Take cover.  No warnings have been issued locally.  We will keep you updated.

6:50 PM -- Storms moving in.  No warnings posted for our immediate listening area yet.  Stay tuned.  These storms have a history of changing rapidly.

6:25 PM -- Hail possible east of Jasper as storms move toward the area.   A new SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING issued for Gibson and Pike Counties.  60 mph + winds possible.

6:05 PM -- A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM CDT FOR NORTHEASTERN GIBSON AND NORTHWESTERN PIKE COUNTIES... 

AT 455 PM CDT, SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 9 MILES SOUTH OF VINCENNES TO NEAR PATOKA, MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH. 

HAZARD...60 MPH WIND GUSTS AND QUARTER SIZE HAIL. 

SOURCE...RADAR INDICATED.

IMPACT...HAIL DAMAGE TO VEHICLES IS EXPECTED. 

EXPECT WIND DAMAGE TO ROOFS, SIDING, AND TREES.

6:00 PM -- Heads up Washington and Bedford.  Line of severe storms moving through.  Will be impacting our area soon.

5:45 PM -- The storms to our north have produced rotation, forcing the NWS to issue TORNADO WARNINGS.  This is the same system pushing to the south, southeast toward our area.  A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH is in effect for the entire area until 9 p.m. eastern, although a tornado can not be ruled out.

 5:20 PM-- The storms around Champaign are moving south, south east toward our area. These are the storms that will give us our severe weather risk this evening.  

THREATS:

- Damaging winds 70 mph possible, 

- Isolated Hail up to 1 inch in diameter possible  

- A tornado or two can not be ruled out.  Tornado warnings have been issued for this line of storms.
