JASPER -- Kyle Schneider will spend 85 years in prison for killing Chloie Lubbehusen in a St. Anthony home earlier this year.  That sentence handed down this morning by Judge Nathan Verkamp in Dubois County Court.

Schneider was also sentenced for possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon. That brings his total sentence to 91 years.

It took a jury less than an hour to find Schnedier guilty of murder back in May.

This isn’t Schneider’s first brush with the law.   As we reported earlier this year, Schnider’s rap sheet includes arrests for domestic battery and strangulation in front of a small child, trafficking marijuana and a gun charge; convictions that were weighed in this morning’s sentencing.
