Kroger to Require Employees to Wear Face Masks to Work

STATEWIDE -- Kroger is taking an extra step of caution when it comes to their employees.
The company announced in a bulletin Sunday that store employees must wear face masks, which will be provided.
Kroger CEO Rodney McMullen says the idea is to better protect people working in the stores. When it comes to shoppers, the company is only recommending they wear face masks at this time.
The Kroger company owns Ruler Food located in Jasper.
