JUST IN: Two More Dubois County Residents Test Positive for COVID-19, Health Officials Say

JASPER -- The Dubois County Health Department has confirmed two more positive cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in county residents, according to a statement released Tuesday morning.

This brings the county's total to 27.

The statement went on to say, "We are working closely with Indiana State Department of Health and local officials to ensure that contacts of the patients are identified and monitored. Anyone who may have an exposure risk, has been or is being notified about potential exposures so that appropriate infection control procedures can be followed."  

The patients are in isolation. 

Officials urge Dubois County residents to continue to practice physical distancing, perform good hygiene, and wear a cloth face covering in public when around others.
