JPD: Suspended License and Drug items found on Traffic Stop

Jasper- 62-year-old Phillip Schroeder was arrested after a traffic stop.

Jasper Police say officers stopped Schroeder for an undisclosed reason at the intersection of Jackson and 17th Street. JPD officials learned he had a suspended license and conducted a vehicle investigation. 

During that investigation, officers located hypodermic syringes and other drug paraphernalia.

Schroeder was arrested for Possession of Hypodermic Syringe (Level 6 Felony), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Class A Misdemeanor), Driving while Suspended-Prior (Class A Misdemeanor).

He was lodged in the Dubois County Security Center.
