Jasper Woman Tests Positive For Meth, Other Substances Following Traffic Stop With Minor in the Car

JASPER -- A Jasper woman is in jail after allegedly driving, high on meth, with a minor in the car.

32-year-old Jami Stout was pulled over on U.S. 231 in Jasper after police received a report of a possibly intoxicated driver.

She failed a field sobriety test and was taken to Memorial Hospital for a chemical test.  It showed she tested positive for methamphetamine, amphetamine, and benzodiazepine.

Stout is charged with OWI, a misdemeanor, and OWI with a Controlled Substance – Endangering a Minor.  That is a felony.
