Jasper Woman Jailed Following Tuesday Morning Crash

JASPER -- A Jasper woman is in jail following an alleged hit-and-run Tuesday morning on 13th Street in Jasper.
Police say Wendy Rasche, 44, hit a utility pole and left the scene around 9:45 a.m. Tuesday.  She was tracked down a short time later by Jasper Police.


Officers say Rasche appeared to be impaired and she was taken to Memorial Hospital where she tested positive for THC (marijuana), Meth and Benzodiazepenes.

She's charged with OWI and Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Crash.
