Jasper Woman Arrested Overnight on Meth, Other Charges

JASPER -- A Jasper woman is in jail today on drug charges following a traffic stop overnight near 3^rd Avenue and Main Street.

Police say Cynthia Denu had a suspended license and she didn’t have insurance on her car.

Officers searched her car and found two plastic straws with meth residue.

About a gram of meth was also located.

Denu is charged with felony meth possession.  She is also facing misdemeanor charges for not having insurance and possession of paraphernalia.
