Jasper Woman Arrested on Three Charges in Weekend Group Home Incident
Jasper - A Jasper woman was arrested on three charges after a Saturday incident at a group home.
On Saturday, Jasper Police responded to a female eloping from a group home. At the time, group home employees advised officers that a female had thrown a large rock at them and damaged their vehicle. According to police, Orjana Shepard, 20, of Jasper, had subsequently damaged two vehicles causing significant damage to both.
Shephard resisted arrest.
Jasper Police has charged Shepard on charges of Criminal Mischief, Resisting Law Enforcement, and Attempted Battery.
