Jasper Three-Vehicle Crash Takes Out Utility Pole, Frontier Box
JASPER -- A three vehicle crash yesterday Thursday in Jasper snarled traffic and took out a utility pole.
Police say the drivers of two vehicles failed to see a third car approaching the intersection of 36th and St. Charles Streets and crashed just before 1:30 yesterday afternoon.
Police say one of the vehicles spun around, rolled forward and struck an electric pole owned by the city, and a Frontier Communications phone box.
Damage to the utility pole was around $100.
$500 in damage of the phone box.
While the crash is listed as a personal injury crash, no information about the extent of injuries was released.
