Jasper's Water Line Replacement Project to Impact New Areas This Week

Update:  The contractor for the City Waterline Project will not be closing 30th Street this week.  

Flaggers will be on site this week to direct traffic.   

 Closure is scheduled to begin Monday, March 4, 2019.

JASPER -- The next phase of Jasper’s water line replacement project will begin this week.

This phase will be starting at 30th Street and continuing south to the City water tower near Mathew Ave.

The contractor will initially be closing 30th street to eastbound traffic between Newton Street and Virginia Street.

Once they get beyond Virginia Street, 30th Street will be closed to traffic in both directions from Virginia Street to a point approximately 600 feet east of Brosmer Street.

The closures are to begin on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. 

During the closure of 30th Street, the city asks the public to use 15th Street, 36th Street and 47th Street (400 North) as alternate routes to Mill Street.
