Jasper Man Found Passed Out in Driver's Seat After Allegedly Hitting Two Cars Sunday

JASPER -- A Jasper man was arrested Saturday following a hit-and-run.

Police say 33-year-old Torey Houchin hit two vehicles in the 1100 block of Mill Street and left the scene around midnight.

Officers located the man a short time later.  He was passed out in the driver’s seat of his vehicle.

Houchin was taken to Memorial Hospital for a chemical test with a BAC of .17.

He was then taken to the Dubois County Security Center.  Houchin is charged with OWI and Leaving the Scene of an Accident.

No injuries were reported.
