Jasper Engines & Transmissions Announces 2018 Scholarship Recipients

AREA WIDE - Jasper Engines and Transmissions is proud to announce the winners of its annual scholarship program. Applicants must be dependent children of full-time JASPER Associates. A rating system of several criteria is used to determine the recipients.

Recipients

Nicholas Baker is a graduate of Crawford County High School. He will attend Purdue University majoring in Engineering. He is the son of Kerry & Lilly Baker.  Kerry works in the Distribution Center at JASPER’s Crawford County facility.

Alex Bauer graduated from Northeast Dubois High School and plans to further his education at the University of Evansville, where he’ll pursue a degree in Computer Engineering. Alex is the son of Randy and Jane Bauer. Randy is the manager of the Maintenance Department at JASPER.

Erica Burkhardt is a graduate of Brooks Debartolo Collegiate High School in Tampa, Florida, and plans to attend the University of Pikeville in Kentucky. Erica is majoring in Psychology with a minor in Biology. She is the daughter of RB and Gina Burkhardt. RB is an Outside Sales Representative at JASPER’s Orlando Branch.

Shania Cremeans graduated from Pike Central High School. She will be attending Vincennes University for a Nursing degree. Shania is the daughter of James and Lucinda Cremeans. James is a Maintenance Technician at JASPER.

Nicole Crosby is a graduate of Henderson County High School in Henderson, Kentucky, and will pursue a degree at Western Kentucky University where she will major in Art History with a minor in Business. Nicole is the daughter of Jason Crosby. Jason is a CNC Machinist in JASPER’s Crawford County Transmission Division.

Kaitlyn Davis was home-schooled and will continue her education at Southwest Baptist University in Mountain View, Missouri. Kaitlyn plans to major in Criminal Justice with a Biology minor. She is the daughter of Joseph and Amanda Davis.  Joe is a Team Leader in the Gas Division at JASPER’s Willow Springs, Missouri facility.

Brett Dollaway was home-schooled and will attend Vincennes University where he’ll pursue a degree in Construction Management/Civil Engineering. He is the son of Bill and Shawna Dollaway. Bill is the manager of JASPER’s Service Department.

Bryce Douglas is a graduate of Perry Central High School and will attend the University of Southern Indiana majoring in Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies. Bryce is the son of Dan and Rebecca Douglas. Dan is manager of the Differential Division at JASPER.

Megan Fraze is a graduate of Forest Park High School and will continue her education at Indiana State University majoring in Accounting and minoring in Financial Services.  Megan is the daughter of Jeff and Amy Fraze. Jeff is a Service Technician in JASPER’s Crawford County Service Department.

Bryan Hagan graduated from Jasper High School and will attend Purdue University to major in Civil Engineering.  Bryan is the son of Joseph and Donna Hagan. Joe works in the Diesel Division at JASPER.

Reece Helming is a graduate of Northeast Dubois High School.  He plans to attend Purdue University to pursue a Pharmacy degree. Reece is the son of Brian and Dawn Helming. Dawn is a Team Leader in the Gas Division at JASPER.

Averie Himsel graduated from Jasper High School and plans to continue her education at Western Kentucky to study Marketing and Communications.  Averie is the daughter of Chris Himsel and Brandy Quinn. Chris is the National Sales Manager for JASPER’s Diesel Division.

Andrew Hochgesang is a graduate of Jasper High School. He plans to attend the University of Southern Indiana where he will major in Financial Accounting. Andrew is the son of Jeff and Marla Hochgesang. Marla is a Software Engineer in JASPER’s Information Technology Department.

Damon Ingle is a graduate of Paoli High School. He will attend Indiana University to pursue a degree in Business with a Spanish minor. Damon the son of Dustin Ingle and Kim Deaton. Dustin is a Team Leader in JASPER’s Diesel Division.

Dakota McDaniel graduated from Willow Springs High School in Willow Springs, Missouri. He plans to major in Criminal Justice and minor in Business at Missouri State West Plains. Dakota is the son of Mitch and Beverly McDaniel. Mitch is a Team Leader in the Gas Division at JASPER’s Willow Springs, Missouri facility.

Isabel Monarrez is a graduate of Northeast Dubois High School. Isabel will attend the University of Southern Indiana to study in the field of Biology. She is the daughter of Jesus Monarrez and Patricia Daugherty. Patricia works in JASPER’s Transmission Division.

Eric Nordhoff graduated from Jasper High School.  He plans to attend the University of Southern Indiana where he’ll major in Education and minor in Exercise Science.  Eric is the son of Jerome and Michelle Nordhoff. Jerome is a Team Leader in the Transmission Division at JASPER.

Price Painter is a graduate of Southridge High School. He will attend Ball State University majoring in Biology with a Zoology minor. Price is the son of Alan Painter and Ann Painter. Alan is a Team Leader in the Maintenance Department of JASPER’s Power Drive facility.

Randie Rogers is a graduate of Willow Springs High School in Willow Springs, Missouri. She plans to attend the Missouri University of Science and Technology where she’ll major in Physics and Applied Mathematics and minor in Computer Science. Randie is the daughter of Eric and Michelle Rogers. Eric is a Team Leader in JASPER’s Willow Springs, Missouri Gas Division.

Zhenya Salmon graduated from Shoals High School. He plans to attend Vincennes University Jasper where he’ll major in Electronics Technology. Zhenya is the son of Larry and Tamara Salmon. Larry is a Group Leader in the Inside Sales Department at JASPER.

Elizabeth Sander is a graduate of Jasper High School. She will attend Indiana University majoring in Education with a minor in Psychology. Elizabeth is the daughter of Harold Sander and Jeanette Sander. Harold is a driver for JASPER’s JET Transit Division.

Kaylee Sherman is a graduate of Heritage Hills High School. She will attend the University of Southern Indiana to pursue a degree in Engineering. Kaylee is the daughter of Brian and Becky Sherman. Brian is a Core Inventory Specialist at JASPER.

Kyle Thornburg graduated from Crawford County High School. He plans to major in Biology at the University of Southern Indiana. Kyle is the son of Jeffrey and Melissa Thornburg. Melissa works in the Transmission Division at JASPER’s Crawford County Facility.
