Jasper Charged With Felony Charges Following Theft From Local Business, Meth Also Found

JASPER -- A Jasper man was arrested on Friday afternoon on theft and drug charges.

After investigating, police obtained a search warrant for an apartment in the 1000 block of Leopold Street.  Tommy Critchfield, 50, of Jasper was staying at that apartment.

Inside the apartment, police found the stolen item, in addition to meth, a syringe and other paraphernalia.

Critchfield is charged with two counts of felony possession for the meth and syringe.  He’s also facing a felony theft charge due to a prior conviction.
