JASPER -- Jasper-based SERVUS! has donated $24,633 to Riley Children’s Hospital’s Be the Hope Now campaign.

The money was raised through the sale of the iconic “red wagon” at local SERVUS! restaurant locations.

For nearly 20 years, SERVUS has raised money for Riley Hospital, totaling more than $1.9 million.

SERVUS founders Robert and Lovella Ruckriegel were on site to sign this year’s check and members of the management team were present during the official presentation held at the Jasper headquarters.

“Today’s presentation is just another example of one of the many ways that SERVUS keeps our restaurants focused on the local communities where we operate,” says Sid Ruckriegel. Brother Al Ruckriegel agrees, adding “our mission statement “Quality Food. Great Service. People First. Is brought to life through this commitment by our team.”

Riley Children’s Hospital is based in Indianapolis, Indiana and is dedicated to providing medical care to all of Indiana’s children regardless of ability to pay and providing research to solve the toughest problems in pediatric health for children around the state, nation and across the globe.
