From State Transportation Sources

ORANGE COUNTY– The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure on State Road 145 for a structure replacement project.

Beginning on or around Monday, Oct. 1, contractors will close S.R. 145 about 1 mile south of the intersection of S.R. 56. Workers will be excavating and then replacing a drainage structure. The work is expected to last until early November, depending upon weather conditions. During this operation, the road will be closed around the clock. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure. All through traffic should use the official detour using S.R 56, S.R. 545 and S.R.164.

INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
