INDOT Plans Public Meeting on Upcoming Road Project in Washington

From INDOT

DAVIESS COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a public meeting in regard to an upcoming project in Washington.

On Thursday, March 14, INDOT will host a public forum concerning the intersection improvement project on State Road 57 at Meridian Street. The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. local time at the Washington City Council Chambers at 200 Harned Avenue in Washington. This project does not require an official public hearing, but since this area is heavily populated with local businesses, INDOT officials would like to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to discuss the proposed plans.

With advance notice, INDOT can arrange accommodations for persons with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services such as an ASL signer/interpreter and alternative format materials. Should accommodation be required with regards to attendance and participation during the public meeting, please contact the Office of Public Involvement at (317) 232-6601, or email [email protected].
