IND.OFFICIALS: 45% of ICU Beds in Indiana Are Available; 74% of Available Ventilators

STATEWIDE -- The Indiana State Department of Health has updated its dashboard with new information on COVID-19 and hospital capacity across the state.

As of the Wednesday update, 45% of the state's ICU beds are currently available.  Of those in the ICU, 25% are of COVID-19 patients.

74% of the ventilators in the state are available with about 15% of them being used by those who have tested positive for the virus.

In the past 24-hours, Indiana has reported 49 new deaths [total: 436] and 440 new cases [total: 8,955].

At Memorial Hospital, doctors have tested 208 people.  171 came back negative; 14 positive and results are still pending on an additional 20 COVID-19 tests.
