Huntingburg Woman Facing Two Drug Charges
Jasper- A woman from Huntingburg is facing drug related charges after officers received reports she was passed out behind the wheel.
On Monday afternoon, just after 4 o’clock, officers with the Jasper Police Department were dispatched to 3rd and Brucke Strasse for reports of a female passed out in a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers found June Garrison, 58 of Huntingburg, by a black Ford Edge.
Upon investigation, Garrison was found to be in possession of a prescription that was not prescribed to her. She consented to speaking with a Drug Recognition Expert, who determined Garrison was not fit to drive. Garrison would refuse a chemical test at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center.
June Garrison was taken and lodged in the Dubois County Security Center on charges of:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Possession of a Legend Drug
