Huntingburg- A chance to win some cash for Christmas.

The Huntingburg Merchants Association is hosting their first ever half pot. The drawing will take place the weekend before Christmas.

Merchant members Andrea Tooley and Linda Gelhausen shared with WITZ’s Charlie Wayne Live at 7:05 on Friday morning some more details.

“Ticket Sales do start tomorrow (Saturday July 9th). We will have someone at the intersection of Highway 231 and 64 in the memorial gym parking lot. We will have banners and signs so we will be easy to spot. Ticket sales run from Nine AM to One PM.”

That’s member Andrea Tooley, the owner of the firefly boutique.

As for prices:

-1 ticket is $5

-3 tickets is $10

-20 tickets is $20

-150 tickets is $100

Being the first year, there is not a specific goal in mind as Gehlhausen’s Flowers and Gifts owner Linda Gehlhausen explains.

“It sets the precedent for years to come. Anything will help out and it will be a great gift come December.”

There will be other locations for ticket purchases. You can find them on the Huntingburg Merchant Associations Facebook page.
